A six-bedroomed home on the Powys/Shropshire border and a building plot close to Aberystwyth will go under the hammer at an auction in Welshpool.
Keen interest is expected in the two lots being auctioned by chartered surveyors and estate agents Morris, Marshall and Poole.
“We have two lots which are expecting interest from potential home buyers and developers, including a six-bedroom property in Llanymynech which has a guide price of just £75,000,” said Andrew Turner, a partner at Morris, Marshall and Poole.
The auction takes place at 2pm on Thursday, 18th June at Welshpool Livestock Sales, Buttington Cross, Welshpool.
Ty Croes is a Grade II listed property in need of modernization, but with original features, two reception rooms and six bedrooms spread over three floors, the Llanymynech property provides a good opportunity for someone looking to invest in a property.
A building plot for a single dwelling is also being auctioned at Glas Y Ddol, Talybont, near Aberystwyth. With planning consent and mains services adjacent, the guide price is between £80,000 and £90,000.
“Auctions are a good opportunity for vendors and buyers and we expect out latest property auction to provide some good opportunities again,” said Andrew.
