Residential property sales are expected rise in Mid Wales and Shropshire in 2015, providing more new year opportunities for homeowners to considering buying or selling a home.
According to estate and land agents Morris, Marshall and Poole, the region’s residential property market has been growing throughout 2014 and will continue to see a significant increase in properties available for first time and existing homeowners in 2015.
“We’ve been receiving a lot of enquiries from homeowners considering selling their homes or looking to let properties and it’s a good sign that a large number of properties will be coming on to the market in Mid Wales and Shropshire over the coming months,” said Andrew Turner, Partner at Morris, Marshall and Poole.
“There’s a great deal of confidence in the market and many people who were considering selling in 2014 are now committing to doing something about it.
“And it’s not just larger properties. Many homeowners who were first time buyers are now looking to up-size as they have confidence in the economy, their jobs and prospects, bringing first time opportunities to those getting on to the ladder or looking to invest in property.”
MMP has revealed it is joining the OnTheMarket.com portal that launches on the 26th January.
The new nationwide site will provide one of the largest array of properties and a new and highly visible online window for clients of MMP.
“With 90 per cent of buyers and tenants starting their search for a property online we know how important it is to have our clients’ properties searchable and visible on the web.
“We place a great deal of investment into marketing our clients properties for sale or to let and OnTheMarket.com is a new opportunity for us to build on this.
“We already use a range of online and traditional media and marketing techniques and sites, including our own website, but this will strengthen that offering,” said Mr Turner.
