If you're looking for some property to invest in, a new home or land in Mid Wales and Shropshire then the Morris, Marshall and Poole Autumn Property Auction is a great place to start.
Following the success of our Summer Property Auction back in June in which we sold a range of lots, from a lake to an historic mansion, to homes and seaside retreats, we'll be holding another event at Welshpool Livestock Sales at Buttington Cross, Welshpool, on Thursday, 25th September at 2pm.
And what a variety of lots.
There's everything from a former primary school, traditional family homes, a couple of former chapels, historic properties and agricultural land. And more within the 17 lots currently on offer.
Andrew Turner, Partner at estate and land agents Morris, Marshall and Poole, said he was looking forward to the latest auction.
"Our June auction was full to capacity, with a lot of interest in a wide range of property and land. The first lot, Carregdio Lake, near Llanidloes, fetched twice its guide, while the hisotirc Maenol manor house attracted a buzz of bids and a interest with a local family successfully bidding for it.
"Our auctions are a great place for people searching for a property to come and have the chance to buy what they're after, while for those selling, it provides an alernative sales method.
"Sometimes the traditional private treaty sale route isn't right for everyone or every property. And that's why the auction route can be a valuable and productive route."
He added: "Auctions can generate a large amount of interest, particualrly if the lot is unusual or highly sought after. We're keen to speak to anyone who'd like to discuss the best method for selling their property or land in Mid Wales and Shropshire."
